This stunning Christian Dior New York evening coat was made for Dior's American Market. Featuring a gorgeous stained glass-inspired floral and paisley print in shades of turquoise and gold on silk, it is the height of opulence. The rich fabric is impeccably tailored into an elegant silhouette with an overlapping stand up collar, button through front with navy leather covered buttons and bound button holes, buttoned cuffs and in-seam pockets. The inside is as flawless as the outside, with a blue silk lining and a beautiful craftsmanship finish. More than five decades later, this jacket is as timeless as ever and an incredible vintage find. Museum quality piece. A rare find. Size Small.
